Dear Williams Family,

I grew up on a potato farm in Western Pennsylvania. The biggest tractor we had was a brand new 1966 John Deere 4020 Diesel. I pulled a five bottom plow with it and a twenty four foot disk with it. We didn't have your acerage but it was a thrill driving it. I can only imagine how nice it is to operate your Big Bud.

Heck, if you let me, I'd come out to your farm and work for free for a couple days just to get a ride in it!

I live in Florida and see the big sugar cane plantations. They use Challenger and John Deere tractors with catepillar tracks, but nothing big a your Big Bud.

I operated the Big Bud KT550 in the summers of 74&75.when I frist seen it I was amazed.I had never seen a tractor so big.I was used to the fram tractor my Dad had.It was a Case 930.I nwas a dream to opperate.I would love to operat  this BigBud .They Sure Don'make them like that anymore

Saw the Big Bud in Independence Iowa today and was wowed by it's enormous size. One has to see it for themselves to appreciate the size. What a head-turner.

I remember when I was 5 years old and my Mom helped market the Big Bud tractors. I also got the chance to sit behind the wheel of the 747 on a farm in Perry Missouri. and it was so much fun. I am so glad that the 747 is still arround.

I was lucky enough to see big bud in Indpendence Iowa... One word sums it up..... AWESOME.

having grown up on a farm in eastern canada, i was surfing one night and boy i found youre site. whow was i impressed with this tractor.the biggest i drove was a john deere 120 hp. i just can't immagine the feeling of driving the big bud.thank you verry much for sharring this marvelous piece of engineering with everybody in the world

I seen my first Big Bud in a fourty thousand acre field in west texas.

I'm stuck in alac right now and looking at pictures of this awesome tractor...i wanna know how much it would cost if i wanted to purchase this tractor for my own amusement lol

I remember seeing this tractor down in Tulare Ca. at the Tulare Farm Show when it was delivered down there in the late 70's. I have a priceless picture with my late grandpa holding his hand by the right front tire. I was about 6 to 7 years old. PRICELESS PHOTO. Now I am 38 and have a collection of Big AC tractors (8 D 21'S, 2 220'S, 210, 7030 AND 7050 )Someday, I will take our family on a road trip to Montana with my 2 boys and see this tractor again. Thanks for restoring a piece of history and to keep America farming.

Had a friend tell me he just bought a "Big" tractor (in Pennsylvania) I told him about seeing Big Bud in Big Sandy at your homecoming in 2005, while visiting long time friend Don Lidstone (8 mile cooley- now living in Great Falls).  We googled "Big Bud."  My friend agreed he didn't have a "big" tractor.  He was amazed as he read stats.  I'm going to bring in my pictures from 2005 for him to see.  "Keep On Plowing!"

My 23 month old son loves tractors. We were watching tv and saw that big bud was going to be in Iowa where we can see it. I have always wanted to see this tractor. I cannot wait to get to take my son and see this huge tractor. Thank You for letting the public be able to see such a site.

saw big bud today @ the farm progress show (9-1-10 iowa) & wow is all I can say. I didn't know a tractor that big existed! It was awesome to see & I would be amazed to actually see it in action.

Thanks for bringing Big Bud to Independence!  We went there today and were amazed.  What a cool tractor!  We are glad to be able to have this opportunity in small town Iowa!!

i am very pleased with the big bud toys that are out there now i have the 1/32 scale and 8 or so n1/64 scales. i would love to get over there to see the big girl for real. keep up with the toys and i will keep buying them.

A few weeks ago a cousin, age 80, called and told me that he would like to come visit Montana where I lived and all he wanted to see was a Big Bud Tractor !!!! Well, as I was searching the web, I found the site for the Williams tractor sales and looked into it...low and behold...the tractor that he wanted to see was loaded onto a flatbed and put on tour...until the end of August !!!  Well, He is here and seeing the sites around the NW part of Montana, and still asked about the tractor...I think he will have his children look for a place that will be near where he lives in NW Tennessee, but I am sure that his dream will always be to see that BIG BUD TRACTOR !!!

My grandkids are farmboys and I wished they could have seen how big this tractor really is- we rode our motorcycle from Winterset on Saturday because my husband wanted to see it. I wished they could have brought it to the Iowa State Fair for display there- it might have brought in alot of people to see it there. It was awesome to see.

Man, I could watch videos of that thing at work all day.

My name is Carson and I am 7 yrs old. On May 15 my dad took me and one of my buddies to see you in Independence. It was so awesome!  We loved it!  My dad bought us a hat and a 1/64 scale of you! I have been a fan of these tractors for 30 years as my father use to sell them in new south wales Australia there are still some of them working in the Moree district new south wales Australia and still look as good as the day they were delivered i have paintings of a 650/50 on my bed room wall good web site.

I have been on a bud but not one that large.  The largest tractor i have bee on is a versatile 835 so i can just imagine the size of the giant 747.  the 747 looks as aggressive as it is claimed to work.

have been farming fan for years, spent all my life working on and around farms, so i like to see different tractors from around world. big bud is fantastic would love to drive it. web site is brilliant keep up good work.  thank you

I first seen "Big Bud" working in the field well on a family trip from Wibaux Mt. to Billings Mt. I was a farm and ranch kid and I knew that "Big Bud" was Huge!!!!  Awsome childhood memory. 

Biggest tractor I have been on is a 250 h.p. J.D.  I cannot imagine 749 h.p.  How much fuel do you use in a day?

The new web is great. I saw the tractor in Rantoul IL in August. It is a great machine and really hard to understand how big it is without seeing it in real life.

i am currently constructing a larger tractor here in the uk with a weight 180,000lbs balested and a power output of 2900 hp coming from a quad turbo w16 engine torque of 3000ftb

Very nice site.  I have never seen the lights of this size tractor till i happened to stumble on a youtube video of it.  It would be nice to see more footage of it working in the field.  IF you were to ever get a chance could you post some footage on youtube of it working its nice to watch.  Thanks and good luck on the farm.
